How can entrepreneurs on Supporting Innovation in South Australia visa arrangement stay beyond November 2021?

I'm an expat entrepreneur planning to enter Australia on SISA. What are my options if I plan to stay and carry on beyond Nov 2021 when the SISA event ends?

For staying in Australia to take part in the Supporting Innovation in South Australia  (SISA) event, you need to apply for Temporary Activity Visa subclass 408, which will be granted for the duration of the SISA event. When the SISA event ends, you cannot stay in Australia any longer by extending this visa. However, you can apply for another visa in Australia such as the subclass 600 tourism stream visa, depending on your eligibility and other conditions.

As an entrepreneur, you may look into the business and innovation visas. If you are capable and in the right industry that Australia needs, then an independent skilled visa could work out. If you fall short of any of the requirements of these two, then there are other visa options too.
