How can I make sure I benefit from Italy’s favorable tax system before it expires?

I'm going to move back to Italy after 7 years abroad. I was planning to make use of the favorable taxes there but heard they might soon end. I plan to move back by mid-next year, would I still be within the time limit before they make taxes higher?

According to the information available as of now, the changes to the tax regime "impatriati" will apply to anybody who moves their fiscal residency to Italy and become an Italian tax resident starting from the year 2024 - should you move to Italy mid-next year, the new tax regime should apply to you (hence the tax benefits will be reduced compared to the current features of the tax regime "impatriati").

According to the government's plans tax benefits shall be reduced but not cancelled. You need to discuss with a tax counsel.
