How does the recent Dutch election impact the chances of success of foreign investors’ investment immigration application?

I'm an investor from the Middle East and I’m interested in The Netherlands investment immigration programs. However, I've heard such programs might either get restricted or end in the near future. Would you advise investors like me to wait and see, or should I go ahead and apply?

In January, the government of the Netherlands informed the Parliament that the residency scheme for foreign investors will be discontinued in 2021. There are no political parties in favor of maintaining this scheme. The outcome of the recent elections is, therefore, not likely to affect this trajectory. The residency scheme is expected to be cancelled within the second half of 2021.
