How can I invest in a business in Grenada to obtain a resident permit, not citizenship?

I love the Caribbean and want to relocate there with my family so we can start a tourism business, perhaps a hotel. However, we don’t want to give up our original nationality, which prohibits dual citizenship. Are there business investment immigration options in Grenada that don’t confer citizenship, but do confer legal residency and work permits?

You may invest in Grenada without becoming a citizen. There is the Grenada Investment and Development Corporation, which can assist in guiding you through this process along with the assistance of a lawyer. The CBI program would, however, give you a secure residency status without the need for applying for citizenship and you may not need work permits. Citizenship remains optional to you in the long run.
