What are the requirements of investors’ management experience for the Quebec Immigrant Investor program?

I learned that investors for Quebec’s program are required to be a shareholder of a private company or have management experience as an employee of an admissible company. I have been working as a director for a medium-sized media company in my home country. I am wondering if companies like this are considered “admissible.”

Indeed, management experience is one of the key requirements of the Quebec Immigrant Investor Program (QIIP). As a director for a medium-sized media company, you are most likely qualified, although the way your documentation is presented would have a significant impact.

The management experience definition pertains to duties related to the planning, management and control of financial, human or material resources under your authority. Therefore, the title or size of the firm is not important. The important thing is what you really do in the company.
