When exactly is the Dutch government planning to end the residency by investment program?

Would investors have the option to invest around 1.25 million euros in a Dutch company or an approved fund to gain legal residency in 2022?

The Dutch government has decided to cancel the RBI (residency by investment) scheme for the Netherlands in the second half of 2021. Even though this residency scheme has not yet officially been cancelled at this moment (mid December 2021), it is still expected that it will be shut down before the end of the year and that no RBI applications can be submitted from January 1st, 2022.
