How can an EU citizen get a second passport in the Caribbean?

As a European citizen I worry about increasing tax burdens and my government restricting civil liberties. That’s why I’m considering to apply for a second passport outside Europe. A Caribbean passport seems the most likely option but I’d love to get an expert opinion on this matter. Who can give me advice?

An EU citizen can proceed with any of the investment options and provide all necessary documentation (such as passport, ID, police reports, and financial statements). Applicants can submit their application remotely, and then upon approval, they will be required to proceed with their chosen investment option. Passports can be obtained within three to four months from the date the application is submitted, depending on which island they proceed with. Obtaining a second passport is a great option for future planning, and if done properly, with good planning in your own country of residency, it might grant travel, residency, and tax benefits for the applicant.

In regards to your citizenship application in the Caribbean, you will need to apply via a government licensed agent, and the process takes approximately four to six months. Once you become a citizen, you are not automatically a resident or tax payer in the Caribbean country. However, if you wish to become a permanent resident and tax payer, you can of course do so at any time because you will be a citizen. The Caribbean is a low tax region and it is an ideal base for permanent residency and tax.

Dominica citizenship is the best to apply for in these circumstances. Benefits include the fact that it is inexpensive, you get fast delivery, it is well respected and it is a valuable piece of travel document. It provides you with the opportunity to travel back to any European country.
