How can business partners apply for an investment visa in Japan?

I run a successful business with a business partner and we both wish to relocate to Japan due to successful trade already in Japan. We understand we both need to have 5 million yen each in order to apply. However, since we both run the business, do we need to have separate business offices, or share the same office since we share the business?

When you and your partner each invest 5 million yen to form one company with 10 million yen share capital, your company needs to have an office to satisfy the immigration requirement for business manager visas for the two partners.
