Can I purchase the property in U.S. dollars for my Greek Golden Visa application?

The owner of the property I want to purchase is willing to accept payment in U.S. dollars. Do I still have to exchange the money to euros? Can I proceed with the transaction in U.S. dollars and apply for a Golden Visa?

Please be aware that the currency in which payment will take place is not that important as the obligation to proceed the payment from a bank account of yours in Greece to the bank account of the seller.

The transaction has to be equal to euros price no matter the currency used.

In principle, the sale contracts signed in Greece must be concluded in the domestic currency, ie. in euros. So there is no possibility, the said transaction to be implemented in dollars.
