Can I submit my applications in English for my Panama RBI application?

I learned that applications to Panama’s RBI program must be submitted in Spanish. Is this true? What about other supporting documents? What requirements should the translated materials meet to be acceptable?

Please note that the application must be in Spanish. All documents should be translated in Panama by a certify Panamanian translator.

The application is submitted by your attorney in Panama, in the country´s official language: Spanish. Any document in other languages has to be translated into Spanish by an authorized translator in Panama, which your attorney will coordinate.

All residency applications must be submitted through an attorney and yes, all documents must be in Spanish, being this originally drafted in Spanish or translated from its original language to this by licensed Panamanian interpreter. It’s a common practice to have these supporting documents in other languages translated to Spanish through the attorney or law firm submitting the application.
