How can I find approved funds to invest in for my RBI application in the Netherlands?

How does the fund investment option work for the Netherlands’ RBI program? How can I know which funds are eligible for the program?

The investment must present added value to the Dutch economy. It must generate employment, stimulate innovation and/or have other non-financial added value. An investment in a fund that, according to the Ministry of Economic Affairs, fits within the SEED scheme provides added value to the Dutch economy. More information on the SEED scheme is to be found on the website of the Netherlands Enterprise Agency (RVO): https://english.rvo.nl/subsidies-programmes/seed-capital/overview-seed-funds. An investment in a venture capital company that is a member of the Netherlands Venture Capital Association ('Nederlandse Vereniging van Participatiemaatschappijen'/ NVP) also presents added value to the Dutch economy. For more information on this type of investment, you are advised to contact a corporate finance consultant. These consultants can also be found at the NVP website (www.nvp.nl).
