The investment has to be made in intellectual property that is registered in Bulgaria. In your case, you should register your product (IP) with a Bulgarian company and follow the R4 procedure.

What are the requirements of investing in intellectual property for the purpose of Bulgaria’s CBI program?
I run a successful IT company in my home country. I am considering expanding my business to Bulgaria and applying for Bulgarian citizenship. While investing in bonds and stocks are common options to participate in its CBI program, the intellectual property route interests me the most. However, I am not sure how exactly that works.
