The new rules are not really "new" rules, rather long awaited rules on how to obtain preliminary approval in order to invest in the Bulgarian Golden Visa program. After the investment is effected, as per the "new" rules, the investor may obtain fast-track permanent residence permit and full citizenship in 5 years, provided certain conditions are met.
