What rights do I have if I obtain a five-year long-term visa?

I just graduated from a top university in India. I read that an outstanding student is eligible to apply for a five-year long-term visa in UAE. Do visa holders of this kind have the right to work freely in UAE? Is it possible to extend the visa after it expires?

Please note the eligibility conditions for a five-year visa are the following: School students must graduate with a grade of at least 95% from secondary schools whether public or private. University students must graduate with a distinctive GPA of at least 3.75 from universities within and outside the country. I have to mention that a student's visa is for a university or a college student studying in the UAE and the student must be at least 18 years of age. Visa benefits will also include families of outstanding students. With reference to your specific question, international students over 18 years old can apply for work permits for part-time jobs in the UAE. Therefore, you can apply for internships, work experience, or jobs to help fund your expenses and build your resume while studying for a degree in the UAE.
