What steps can I take to ensure I don't lose my Dutch passport following Brexit?

I'm a Dutch citizen living with my British partner in the UK where I work. I've heard a rumor that I could lose my passport if I have lived outside the EU for more than 10 years. What would you advise me to do so that does not happen to me? Also, how can I stay and work in the UK following Brexit?

You can only lose your Dutch nationality due to stay abroad if at any time after reaching the age of 18 years you reside outside of the Netherlands, Aruba, Curaçao, Sint Maarten or the EU for at least 10 years; and you also have another nationality during those years. The loss period of 10 years ceases if you take up residence in the Netherlands, Aruba, Curaçao, Sint Maarten or the EU for longer than one year; or if you apply for and are issued with a valid Dutch passport; or if you apply for and are issued with a valid Dutch identity card; or if you apply for and are issued with a Dutch nationality certificate.
