New Zealand has plans to open its borders to fully vaccinated foreign nationals from April 30, 2022.
According to the latest information, after April 30, 2022, the border may reopen.
In the current timeline that has been communicated, New Zealand will open up after April 30, 2022, for visa waiver travelers and temporary visa holders. That would also mean for investors that they would be able to travel to NZ to invest (post AIP) and start the three or four year investment period. Of course, during COVID times changes in plans are almost a given. The exact timeline on how the country will open up for certain types of visa holders is still unclear and might not be exactly on April 30, 2022.
