The interest from Russia, mainland China and Hong Kong for Bulgarian citizenship is indeed very high. The cost of the program can be indeed different for clients from different countries. The same applies to the waiting times. The Bulgarian CBI program requires an investment of 1,024,000 euros in Bulgarian Eurobonds or listed shares. Citizenship can be applied for as soon as 12 months after the permanent residence status has been granted. The permanent residence status can be applied for immediately after the first 50% of the required investment amount has been effected.
