What are the differences between a Panama passport and a Panama travel passport?

I am interested in participating in Panama’s residency-by-investment program. However, I am new to the program and not sure about the similarities and differences between a regular Panama passport and a Panama travel passport in terms of benefits and limitations. Could you please explain?

Both passports are issued by the same government agency, have the same expiration date (five years) and even look the same. The soul difference is on the cover. The traveler's passport says so, and on the general information page, it states your citizenship of birth and not a Panamanian one.

There’s a special temporary residency permit that grants a five-year travel passport. This permit is linked to a fixed-term deposit you should set at a state-owned bank for five years, which grants you a monthly interest of at least $850 or more. This resident permit may be renewed for an additional five years, but won’t lead to permanent status. On the other hand, you may obtain a regular passport once you become a citizen. This you may do five years after having obtained permanent residency status based on any of the available categories for this.

The Panama travel passport granted by a special residency-by-investment program is a travel document. It doesn't grant Panamanian citizenship. The main benefit is that it can be used to travel to the countries that allow Panamanians without a visa. The limitation is that it can be used just a travel document.
