Aside from the gateway cities, where else should Chinese investors seeking hospitality investments look?

We’re a Chinese construction company interested to know what other major cities are drawing Chinese hotel investment (and tourism).

It's been my experience that Chinese investors typically only invest in well-known/established Chinese neighborhoods. From their perspective, there's just too much uncertainty outside of those markets for their comfort level, not to mention their lenders also prefer the same markets when it comes to underwriting their loans.

Thank you for your question. I am aware of a unique healthcare/wellness center that is being developed in the Caribbean. The developer will be seeking equity investment partners in the near future. Please let me know if you are interested to discuss this. You can contact me directly via my website.

The top cities I would suggest are New York, Los Angeles, San Francisco, Miami, Boston, Chicago, Denver, Atlanta, Dallas, Austin, New Orleans, Seattle, and Pittsburgh.
