Turkey continues to see a steady increase of CBI applications with more than 5,000 foreign investors who have been granted citizenship following the country’s relaxed CBI legislation two years ago. Another 1,382 investors have completed the process but haven’t received citizenship documents yet and 9,000 applications are still pending, according to the Turkey Interior Ministry.
