EB5 Investors and Uglobal Immigration magazines hold successful expo in South Korea

 As the number of high net worth individuals and EB-5 investors stays strong in South Korea, EB5 Investors Magazine and Uglobal Immigration Magazine brought their long-standing industry knowledge to the South Korean market on Sept. 12. 

The Sept. 12 expo in Seoul, staged within the prestigious J.W. Marriott, featured an impressive gathering of hundreds of industry stakeholders, from project developers and attorneys to migration agents, regional centers and more.  

In addition to business presentations about projects of interest going up throughout the word, the expo featured a series of interactive panels moderated by industry-leading professionals who talked about the U.S. EB-5 program and global citizenship-by-investment and residency-by-investment programs. 

The moderated panel topics covered EB-5 legislation, conducting due diligence for EB-5 projects, global alternatives to EB-5 that offer residency, the factors driving investment immigration, common issues facing Korean investors and hot issues within the EB-5 industry.   

Attendees enjoyed the conference.  

"South Korea was a good event for us,” said Adrian Pomery, director of strategic development at One Lily Pad, a California-based franchise finance and development firm. “We were able to establish some valuable connections and there was sincere interest in what we are offering.  EB5 Investors continues to put on well-run events that provide high value for both networking and education.” 

Attorney Julien Tétrault of JTH Lawyers Inc. called the Seoul expo “a fine success.” 

“We had a full house,” he added. “Everything was well organized, topics were on point and the speakers were key players within their respective industries who shared informative insights. I managed to make new, fruitful contacts and share notes with my fellow industry members.” 

Orestis Katsaros, business development manager of Leptos Estates in Cyprus, agreed.   

“The conferenced held by EB5 Investors Magazine and Uglobal in South Korea was indeed a great success,” he said. “We thoroughly enjoyed our participation as panelists and we benefited greatly by connecting with professionals of the sector and from the high-level discussions of the panels.”
