Margarida Santos is a founding partner of Dinis Lucas & Almeida Santos, based in Lisbon. The law firm was incorporated in 1998 and is a member of the Portuguese-Spanish Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Portugal-Brazil Chamber of Commerce and other industry groups.

Santos specializes in corporate law, mergers and acquisitions, commercial law, tax law, obligations law, litigation and immigration. She also conducts estate management and international tax planning for foreign investments in Portugal, as well as residency permits for investment.

Santos helps real estate transactions and with project finance operations.

From 1993 to 2000, Santos was a lecturer at Universidade Autónoma de Lisboa on the subjects of obligations law and commercial law. She has taken part in Portuguese and international congresses on commercial law and international law.

Santos earned her law degree from the University of Coimbra in 1992 and studied business law at Catholic University of Portugal. She has been admitted to the Portuguese Bar Association.

In addition to Portuguese, Santos speaks, Spanish, English and French.
