How will investors with existing applications get affected by Grenada’s interview requirement?

I’m in the process of applying for Grenada citizenship and just learned that there will now be mandatory personal interviews. Does that mean I will have to travel to Grenada to do the interview or can it be done remotely? Does it even apply to those already in the process or to new applicants only?

It is my understanding that this new change will come into effect on the 1st of September for all applications submitted thereafter. The interviews will be conducted online by a third-party due diligence provider.

The new rule applies to applications made after September 1st so will not affect you, interviews are expected to be done online so wouldn’t be a need to visit Grenada anyway.
