Can a caution for common assault affect my Portugal visa application

I live in the UK, and I received a caution for common assault in Jan 2018. Now I want to relocate to Portugal. Will it affect my application?

According to Portuguese law, if you have been convicted of a crime that, in Portugal, is punishable by a custodial sentence of more than one year, even if this has not been served or its execution has been suspended, you cannot have a residence permit. In this case, if the caution is not listed on the criminal record, it should not pose any issue.
