Mark Leverette is a partner and co-chairman of the BPM Real Estate Industry Group.

He oversees RE-Books, a consulting and advisory accounting practice focused on real estate enterprise and fund accounting.

He audits, reviews and works on agreed upon procedures for both public and private entrepreneurial companies. Leverette has used his skills to advise many on land and building acquisitions, lessee and lessor accounting, specialized revenue recognition, equity transactions, mergers and acquisitions, Sarbanes-Oxley Act compliance and initial public offerings.

Leverette focuses on growth-oriented real estate, technology, and crypto and blockchain enterprises. He connects with entrepreneurs, attorneys, bankers, wealth advisors, real estate developers and consumer product companies. His clients include private equity funds, real estate investment trusts, developers, construction companies and emerging technologies.

BPM offers accounting, tax and consulting services to real estate industry members such as investors, developers, managers, real estate investment trusts and family-owned real estate enterprises. BPM assists with the formation of real estate funds, acquisitions, development, disposition, investment and management of properties.

Leverette is a qualified BPM University trainer for continuing professional education training and an adviser for the Center for Entrepreneurship in the Haas School of Business at UC Berkeley.

In addition to his bachelor’s degree in economics and accounting from the UCLA, Leverette also attended the London School of Economics, where he studied business and accounting for e-commerce.
