Rosendo Guimarães da Costa is a Portugal immigration consultant. He works as an attorney for the China desk team at Caiado Guerreiro’s client office in Beijing, China.

In addition to its China office, Caiado, a multijurisdictional law firm based in Lisbon, Portugal, has other offices throughout in Portugal and ones in Africa.

As a member of the China desk, da Costa frequently travels around the country to promote Portugal investment to Chinese investors. He also travels for consulting purposes, conference organization and participation in events. He specializes in immigration law as well as real estate and construction.

Da Costa joined Caiado in 2014, first serving as a trainee attorney in immigration law, public law, finance and tax law, investment and real estate. Prior to that, he previously worked for another law firm in Portugal, working on civil law, criminal law, commercial law, marriage law, administrative law and litigation.

Da Costa also completed an internship for a Portuguese government agency, working on public administration and defense, social security, labor and unemployment law, social security and litigation.

Da Costa earned his bachelor’s degree from the University of Coimbra in Portugal in 2010. He earned a master’s degree from the University of Porto and also studied at the University of Seville.

He is a member of the Portuguese Bar Association and a founding member of the Portuguese Club in Beijing. He is currently vice president of its fiscal board.

Da Costa speaks Portuguese, Spanish, English and Mandarin.
